The Industrial safety program is designed for technical specialists involved in mining and processing of minerals. This course offers a complete description of all aspects related to security in the industry.

During the study, students will get acquainted with the main types of minerals and methods of their enrichment. The technical processes related to the extraction and processing of minerals are considered, as well as the relevant rules and regulations, compliance with which is a key aspect of ensuring safety.

The program includes the following topics:

1. Fundamentals of industrial safety in mineral processing: introduction to industrial safety, the role of safety in the process of extraction and enrichment of minerals.

2. Hazards and risks in mineral processing: analysis of hazards associated with mining, technical accidents, poisoning and explosions, risk assessment and management.

3. Legislation and standards in the field of industrial safety: an overview of relevant laws, regulations and standards governing safety in the field of mining and processing of minerals.

4. Basic safety principles in mineral processing: prevention of emergencies, use of protective equipment, organization of workplaces, safe methods of working with equipment and materials.

5. Emergency management: development of evacuation and emergency response plans, organization of medical care, interaction with emergency services.
