The program provides comprehensive knowledge and skills necessary to ensure safe and efficient mining processes through underground exploitation.
Applicants of this course will study various aspects of industrial safety related to underground mining. They will be introduced to the basic principles and techniques used to ensure a safe working environment and protect workers from potential hazards.
The key topics that will be covered in the course include: 1. Risk Assessment: Students will learn how to assess and manage risks in underground mining. Methods and tools will be considered to identify potential hazards and take measures to prevent them.
2. Safety of mining equipment: Students will become familiar with the basic safety principles when working with mining equipment, such as lifting mechanisms, vehicles and ventilation systems.
