B.1.17 Production and consumption of air separation products

B.1.17
The industrial safety program on the topic "Production and consumption of air separation products" is designed to train specialists working in the field of industrial safety and labor protection.

In this course, the process of production and use of air separation products such as oxygen, nitrogen, argon and other inert gases is widely considered. The course focuses on the basic safety aspects associated with these processes, as well as on measures to prevent emergencies and minimize risks to personnel and the environment.

The course structure includes the following topics:

1. Overview of the production process of air separation products. This section discusses the general scheme and principles of operation of air separation plants, as well as the main characteristics of the gases produced.

2. Hazards and risks associated with the production and consumption of air separation products. It examines the main hazards such as fires, explosions, gas leaks, as well as the toxicity and asphyxia that can occur when working with these gases.

3. Means of individual and collective protection. This section covers various types of protective equipment such as respirators, protective suits, gas analyzers, as well as fire extinguishing and emergency ventilation systems.

4. Safe operation procedures. It examines the basic rules and regulations that must be followed when working with air separation products, including workplace organization, rules for storing and transporting gases, as well as conducting preliminary and periodic inspections.

5. First aid training. This section highlights the main first aid measures in case of emergencies related to the production and consumption of air separation products.

As a result of completing this course, students will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure safe operation with air separation products, as well as for effective emergency prevention and risk management in this area of industry.
