The program offers an in-depth study of issues related to safety at enterprises engaged in the foundry production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
This course is designed for professionals working in the foundry industry or intending to take their place in this field. The main purpose of the course is to master the practical skills and knowledge necessary to ensure safe and effective work in the foundry of ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
Students of the course will be familiarized with the main technological processes used in the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as with the basics of safety used in these processes. Important aspects such as fire safety regulations, control of hazardous substances, accident prevention measures, occupational safety and lighting will be carefully considered.
In addition, students will be introduced to the specific risks and hazards associated with the foundry of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, as well as learn how to apply effective methods and techniques to prevent accidents and minimize risks.
The whole course will be combined around real cases and practical tasks. Students will learn to analyze and assess potential hazards, develop and implement accident prevention and response plans, and communicate and interact effectively to ensure workplace safety.
