B.6.3. Surveying for the safe conduct of mining operations during the development of mineral deposits by underground method

B.6.3.
The Industrial Safety Program, focused on surveying the safe conduct of mining operations when developing mineral deposits underground, provides students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills necessary for successful and safe performance of work in the mining industry.

The study begins with an overview of the basic concepts and principles of industrial safety in the mining industry and a study of the main types of minerals that are usually mined underground. The training also includes the study of various methods and technologies used in surveying, which allows students to understand the peculiarities and complexities of working in an underground environment.

Students will be introduced to the most important aspects of safe mining operations, such as planning and organizing work, monitoring the condition of mine workings, preventing accidents and ensuring safe working conditions for personnel. They will also study practical methods of surveying, including the installation and maintenance of survey networks, the definition and control of geometric parameters of mine workings, as well as the management of groundwater and mountain waters.

All course material is presented taking into account modern standards and regulatory safety requirements in the mining industry. Teachers with many years of experience in the industry will provide clear and interesting training, supported by real examples and practical tasks.

Upon graduation, applicants will have the necessary knowledge and skills to make responsible decisions and effectively manage surveying in the mining industry. They will be ready for professional work as surveyors or industrial safety specialists in companies engaged in underground mining.
